Lumina is the intelligence fabric of your organization. Built on 25+ years of industry experience to augment human intelligence and preserve organizational knowledge.
The Architecture
Most AI platforms are built around cloud services, vendor lock-in, and opaque reasoning. Lumina is built around the opposite: a reasoning dialogue with your data, an intelligence fabric that compounds across your teams, local-first compute, and the operating logic your own experts own.
Work begins with a question, and the Dialogue Intelligence Framework turns analytics into a reasoning exchange between your organization and its data, so insight becomes something you arrive at rather than fetch from a static report.
Read the FrameworkThe interaction between your experts and your agents creates organizational memories that compound over time and never retire, woven by Lumina Cortex into one fabric your whole organization can query.
What is Lumina Cortex?A full analytical SQL engine runs inside your browser, so your operational data is analyzed where it already lives and only the small portion you choose is ever sent on for reasoning.
How local-first worksYour logic, crafted by your most talented engineers, stays with the organization and transfers across the teams, so standards that took years to build are never lost when people move on.
Separation of Logic from ReasoningThe Foundation
The Dialogue Intelligence Framework (DIF) is the architectural principle at the core of Lumina. Analytics is no longer something a user "does" inside tooling. It is an ongoing dialogue between the organization and its data, mediated by an intelligent system that learns both.
In a DIF-based system, insight is not limited to the moments when someone opens a dashboard. The system continuously analyzes data, detects emerging patterns, and surfaces observations proactively. The interface is a growing stream of contextual, explainable understanding that is always one question away from deeper clarity.
Read the DIF WhitepaperThe primary abstraction is the question. Everything else exists to support interpreting and answering it.
The system builds a memory of your operations, preferences, and prior findings. Every session is a continuation, not a reset.
Every answer states whether it was computed from your data or drawn from the agent expertise you own, and you can open the source rows behind any figure it reports.
The system initiates the conversation when it detects something important. You do not need to know the right question in advance.
Local-First
Traditional analytics asks you to move your data to the cloud. Lumina moves the intelligence engine to your data.
A full analytical SQL engine runs locally in your browser. Warehouse-class queries execute in milliseconds on hardware you already own, against the data exactly where it already sits.
Your dataset is analyzed on your own device, and the model receives the schema plus a small sample rather than the full file. The results are computed locally, alongside the data they came from. The local-first design is built to support GDPR, HIPAA, and data-sovereignty programs, and the Trust Center sets out where each certification stands in plain language.
Because the analysis runs on your own hardware, a secure facility or a remote rig can do the heavy computation on site instead of sending data to a distant cluster. Fully offline operation is the next profile on our roadmap, scoped with the customers who need it.
Separation of Logic
Most AI systems entangle the model and the logic it operates on. When the system gives an answer you disagree with, there is no rule to inspect and no threshold to change. The only intervention is "ask it again."
Lumina draws a clear line between the model and the logic it works on. The rules, thresholds, physics models, and regulatory limits are written by your domain experts and held outside the model, where your team can list them, search them, correct them, and export them. Changing what an agent has been told to do is a change your own people make and can see, and that logic stays your IP.
Separation of Logic from ReasoningGovernance
Not all data carries the same sensitivity, so every agent is assigned a governance level that declares how its workload should be handled. The levels run from public cloud inference through to air-gapped operation on hardware you own.
Cloud inference, suited to public data such as market reports and published catalogs.
Internal covers your operational dashboards and everyday figures, where the intent is that structure travels and the detail stays with you.
Confidential is the level for work you want held inside your own boundary. Enterprise accounts can bring their own model and keys today, and self-hosted inference is in development for those engagements.
The strictest profile, intended for offline and classified environments where nothing may leave the building. We are building this level out now with the design partners who require it.
Lumina Cortex™
Lumina Cortex is the layer that connects domain-expert agents, the memory they accumulate, and the multi-agent reasoning of the Boardroom into a single fabric your organization can query.
Where the industry built a data fabric to weave data from disparate sources, Lumina Cortex weaves intelligence. Agents reason within their own domain. Their insights compose through dialogue, not through data pipelines.
The Outcome
Lumina is a holistic organizational intelligence platform that learns from the interactions between your experts and your data, and compounds them over time into an organizational fabric your whole company can reason with, long after any single project, model, or person has moved on. It is a new category, a System of Reasoning that sits above the systems of record and engagement you already run.
An analyst that does the digging, runs the hypotheses, and shows its work, so your best people spend their hours on judgment and decisions instead of grinding through spreadsheets.
Faster, defensible answers that already carry the reasoning, so the team ships sharper calls and stops waiting on the one person who happens to know the data.
The reasoning and rules captured as people work stay and compound, so the platform builds residual value that grows the more your teams use it, not value that walks out the door.
A 30-minute session with your data. No slides. No pitch. Bring a dataset and a hard question, and we will reason through it together.
